PODERE LE RONDINI is a property for holidays made of a COLONICA VILLA (sleeps 22 persons) and a cottage called FIENILE (sleeps 7 persons). Both the houses have been completely restored on year 2009, preserving the rural atmosphere and the original materials, while giving life to houses equipped with all the comforts and amenities, with pretigious interiors, and, at the same time, in typical Tuscan style.
The property, enriched by a large swimming-pool, overlooks the surrounding hills of the Florentine Chianti, with olive groves and vineyards.
The cottage FIENILE may be rented throughout as a single house or, for smaller groups, it may be divided into two apartments, called ACERO (4 pers.) and CIPRESSO (3 pers.). Groups of up to 7 persons may rent FIENILE as a single unit, having it fully at their own private disposal.

The COLONICA VILLA may accomodate up to 22 persons.
Groups up to 29 people may rent the whole estate, having exclusively at their sole disposal all the property and its facilities.
At guests’ disposal there is also a laundry room with washing-machine, a large swimming-pool of 15×7,5 metres, while more than 20 hectares of our land are sourrounding the estate for unforgettable walks immersed in untouched nature.
Each apartment and house has its own private shadowed area in the park, equipped with tables and chairs in order to relax or eat open-air, organizing BBQs or dinners. Our promise is to make your stay quiet and relaxing, surrounded by nature and away from the hubbub of city life.
Enjoy at our villa also the unique experience of a “GUIDED WINE AND OLIVE OIL TASTING” carried out by a CERTIFIED SOMMELIER and WINE CONNOISSEUR (who attended, among the best Italian and Chianti Schools, also the Wine Spectator School in New York) ! Ask the reception for details and prices if you wish to enhance your “wine culture” while having a lot of fun !
On September, October and November you can join us during the grape harvest or the collection of olives, actively helping and observing these gestures and the ancient rites that lead to the production of Chianti wine and Tuscan extra virgin olive-oil, that you may also buy at our place. We may also guide you to a private visit to the Montespertoli’s wine growers’ cooperative. A touristic guide/cicerone is also available upon request to tour the main Tuscan towns and cities. Pick-up and taxi service available as well upon request.
We will be glad also to show you the best Tuscan recipes and dishes.
At your arrival, we will be glad to suggest you the best itineraries to discover the most beautiful little towns or villages in the Chianti area. On request, we may book for you for free the tickets to enter in the Uffizi or Accademia museums in Florence, in order to avoid you to queue outside the museums many hours. On your request, we may also organize for you horse-riding walks.
PODERE LE RONDINI is located in the heart of the Chianti region, in the open countryside, 800 metres far from the small village of Poppiano (where you may visit the ancient Poppiano Castle that dates back to the X century). PODERE LE RONDINI is a perfect example of a Tuscan country villa, immersed in the tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside, mid-way beetwen Florence and Siena.
